Website Privacy Notice
This notice describes independent optional website analytics and advertising-measurement controls and how to reach the separate booking service. It is not a description of all customer-record handling by the grooming business or its booking provider.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is on by default on this website and can be turned off at any time in Privacy settings. Turning it off does not prevent browsing or booking. While on, the website sends Google page-visit and diagnostic button-click events. The distinct hero_book_visit_click event measures activation of the Vancouver homepage hero Book a Visit link to /vancouver/book. A booking, phone or email click is not confirmation of an appointment, completed call or accepted inquiry.
The website’s analytics events use fixed page categories and omit URL query strings, fragments, referring URLs and arbitrary click details. They do not include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, booking contents or form entries. Google receives browser identifiers, cookies and technical connection information, including your IP address when your browser connects to Google.
Separate optional Google Ads measurement
Advertising measurement is also on by default and can be turned off separately from analytics at any time in Privacy settings. Analytics and advertising measurement toggle independently either way. With advertising measurement on, the website enables advertising storage and advertising user data for Google Ads click attribution and sends a conversion event only when you activate the Vancouver homepage hero Book a Visit link to /vancouver/book. This conversion means a link click, not a completed booking, appointment, purchase or qualified lead.
After advertising consent, only syntax-validated gclid, gbraid and wbraid Google advertising click identifiers from the current URL may be used for attribution. Duplicate, malformed or unrelated query values are omitted. No arbitrary query string, fragment, referring URL, contact information, form data or booking data is intentionally sent in these events. The website does not retain click identifiers before advertising consent. If you first accept analytics without advertising permission, click identifiers are removed before loading Google and cannot later be recovered for attribution.
The shared Google library loads once at least one optional category is active (on by default, or re-enabled after being turned off). Before loading it, the website removes unrelated query parameters and fragments from the current address. Turning off both categories in Privacy settings stops this website’s Google measurement loader and measurement requests. Personalized advertising, Google signals, remarketing and enhanced conversions are not enabled by this implementation; advertising-personalization permission stays denied. Advertising measurement uses first-party Google Ads cookies, while analytics uses first-party Google Analytics cookies.
Read more about Google’s processing at Google’s privacy policy. Vercel Analytics is not loaded by this version of the website.
Your choices and withdrawal
Use Privacy settings on any page, at any time, to turn either category on or off independently — this website does not serve Quebec and uses the easy opt-out this control provides, rather than an upfront acceptance step, for these two non-sensitive, clearly-disclosed categories. Both default to on. Versioned choices are stored in this browser’s local storage until changed or cleared; they are not account-wide preferences. Other open tabs on the same origin apply preference changes. If storage is unavailable, choices apply only to the current page; after reload they revert to this page's default.
Turning a category off stops this website’s measurement dispatch for it, removes accessible first-party Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies and reloads to unload running Google code. Only a category you have not turned off restarts after reload. If storage is unavailable, the page-only choice does not persist across reloads. Requests already sent or in flight cannot be recalled, turning a category off does not erase information previously received by Google, and first-party controls cannot remove cookies on Google’s domains.
Appointy booking
The Vancouver booking page embeds the scheduler at woofwash.appointy.com and provides a link to open it directly. Loading that page connects your browser to Appointy regardless of your website measurement choices. Details you enter in the scheduler are handled within that separate service. The website’s measurement controls do not control Appointy’s cookies, analytics or handling of booking information. Review the privacy information provided by Appointy in its service before entering personal details.
Contacting Woof Wash
Telephone and email links open your calling or email application. Information you choose to communicate through those services is separate from this website’s diagnostic click events. Existing contact options are available on the Vancouver contact page.
Scope of this notice
This notice does not specify customer-record retention periods, the booking provider’s storage locations or a dedicated privacy-request contact. Those business and provider practices are not established by the website code. For questions about a booking or information you have supplied, use the existing contact options above and the privacy information in the booking service.
