Grooming policies
Comfort and safety come first. These policies help every visit go smoothly for you and your pet.
- Comfort and safety come first
- Every groom is paced around your pet. If a pet is too stressed to continue safely, we pause, adjust, or reschedule rather than push through.
- Matting is handled humanely
- Light to moderate matting can often be worked through. Severe matting may require a shorter clip, as brushing out tight mats is painful. Humane de-matting always takes priority over appearance.
- Sizes and breeds accepted
- Acceptance can depend on size and behaviour. Due to the limited grooming space we operate without a helper, so we can’t accept very large or giant breeds.
- Health and vaccinations
- Please let us know about any senior-pet or health condition before an appointment. Some senior pets or pets with health conditions can’t be accepted and will need grooming at a vet, due to their age or health condition.
- Cancellations and rescheduling
- Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours ahead at no charge. Short-notice cancellations incur a $50 fee.
- Preparing for your visit
- A short walk beforehand and a quiet spot for the unit to park usually helps.
